How UNDERPRESSURE handles your data. Plain English, with the engineering shown.
UNDERPRESSURE is built to be useful without being invasive. This page is the legal layer on top of the engineering layer documented at /privacy-engineering — read that page for the actual architecture.
## What we collect locally (stays on your device)
All blood pressure readings, daily context, protocol adherence, and medication and supplement names are stored in SwiftData on your device only. There is no iCloud sync and no account, so the data never leaves your phone and we cannot access it even if asked. Two practical consequences: it is not shared between your devices, and deleting the app deletes the data.
If you grant HealthKit access, readings already recorded elsewhere are read from Apple Health on your device to pre-fill a check-in. We never write to Apple Health, and nothing read from it is transmitted anywhere.
## What we collect on our servers
Nothing. This version has no user accounts, no backend, and no analytics or attribution SDKs. The app makes no network request carrying your health data.
## Cookies and analytics
This website uses privacy-first analytics (Plausible) that does not set cookies and does not track individual users. We do not embed third-party trackers or social media pixels.
## Data sharing
We do not sell your data. Period. We do not share it with insurers, employers, advertisers, or data brokers.
## Your rights
Because your data never leaves your device, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on your behalf — you already hold all of it. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health, and you can erase everything by deleting the app.
## Children
UNDERPRESSURE is not intended for users under 18.
## Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date below and publish a /changelog entry describing the change.
