DEEPEN — Stack expansion
Week 2 adds sauna, NSDR, and Tier 2 supplements. The stack expands while the foundation holds.
Week 2 doesn't undo week 1 — it adds to it. The foundation levers stay in. The deepening layer goes in on top.
What's new this week
- Sauna — 2–4 sessions, 20 minutes at 80–90°C (176–194°F), per the Finnish KIHD cohort dose-response
- NSDR (Non-Sleep Deep Rest) — 10–20 minutes, late afternoon ideal
- CoQ10 (Ubiquinol) — Tier 2 supplement
- L-Citrulline Malate — Tier 2 supplement
- Aged Garlic Extract — Tier 2 supplement
Why these together
Sauna and NSDR both work through parasympathetic activation — different vehicles, similar effect on resting BP and HRV. Stacking them is intentional: they don't compete, they compound.
The Tier 2 supplements have decent meta-analytic support individually. Stacking them is where the evidence base thins — we layer them at week 2 specifically so the lever rankings can attempt to separate which one is doing the work for your body.
What you should be seeing
If week 1 went well, you're probably seeing modest movement in your 7-day average by now. Don't read too much into a single reading — the trend is what counts.
The lever rankings activate at day 7. The first version will be low confidence — that's expected. By the end of week 2, confidence improves to moderate.
