Common questions
My cuff readings aren't showing up
UNDERPRESSURE pre-fills a check-in from Apple Health when a recent blood pressure sample exists there. Make sure your cuff's app (Withings, Omron, QardioArm, …) is writing to Apple Health, then allow UNDERPRESSURE to read blood pressure and heart rate: iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → UNDERPRESSURE. Apple does not tell apps whether reading was granted, so the app shows "Requested" rather than "Allowed". Manual entry always works.
I subscribed but the app still says Free
Open the paywall (Settings → Upgrade to Pro) and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account that bought the subscription. If it still fails, email with the date of purchase.
How do I cancel?
iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → UNDERPRESSURE Pro, or from the app: Settings → Manage Subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
What happens to my protocol if I stop subscribing?
It pauses at the current day. Your readings, trends, and history stay available for free. Subscribe again and the protocol resumes on the same day you left.
Where is my data? Can I export it?
On your iPhone only — nothing is uploaded, see the Privacy Policy. The onboarding summary can be shared as text; a full physician export (PDF) is planned. Deleting the app deletes its data, so back up your phone before switching devices.
A reading was wrong
Swipe left on it in the reading history (Dashboard → history) to delete it. Lever rankings and the widget update immediately.
The widget looks dimmed
The widget dims its reading and shows a check-in nudge once the latest reading is more than 24 hours old. Log a new reading and it brightens up.
Emergencies. If a reading is 180/120 or higher after re-measuring, or you have chest pain, shortness of breath, numbness, or vision or speech changes, call emergency services. This app cannot help with an emergency.
